​My Swiss heritage traces back to Hans Ulrich Burgi, who emigrated from Bern, Switzerland, to Philadelphia in the mid-1700s. Learning about this heritage reinforces my profound respect for precision, craftsmanship, and the rich tradition of Swiss watchmaking. Most of the watches I make feature Swiss movements, known for their reliability and superior quality.

My journey in watchmaking began when my wonderful wife purchased me a nearly $6,000 watch. Inspired by this gift, I spent years studying, learning, and researching the craft. In January 2023, I built my first watch, the Barger Model 1, using a top-grade Swiss ETA 2824-2 movement—the same movement in the watch my wife gave me. This marked the start of creating limited edition and bespoke watches for friends, relatives, and discerning customers. My dedication to quality is unwavering—each Barger watch is built, prototyped, and rigorously tested to ensure it will withstand any adventure.

I pride myself on using the highest quality materials. My limited edition watches incorporate premium watch dials, sapphire anti-reflective coated crystals, top-grade hands, and Swiss movements. Each limited edition timepiece comes with a two-year limited warranty, reflecting my commitment and confidence in each watch I build. My standard edition watches are crafted with the same level of care, using very good materials, and include a one-year limited warranty.

With several patents and over a decade of experience in consumer products manufacturing, sales, and support, I have sold millions of products across North America. This expertise in quality control and production efficiency seamlessly translates into the meticulous craftsmanship of Barger watches.

As a small micro-brand with very limited production, I am personally involved in the day-to-day operations. I ensure each watch is made, tested, and shipped with great care, guaranteeing that everything is perfect for you. Each watch undergoes a multi-point inspection. This ensures the limited nature and availability of each watch. Every limited edition and some standard edition watch dials are personally crafted by me, making each one unique.
