At Barger Watch, we take immense pride in our meticulous assembly and rigorous inspection process, all conducted in the heart of Texas. Each watch we create is a testament to our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and precision.
Assembling in Texas
Our journey begins with the assembly of each watch, where we carefully put together each component with the utmost and uncompromising attention to detail. From the case and dial to the hands and movement, each part is handled with precision to ensure a seamless fit and flawless operation. This hands-on approach allows us to maintain stringent quality control and ensure that every watch meets our exacting standards.
Multipoint Inspection Process
Once assembled, each Barger watch undergoes a comprehensive multipoint inspection to ensure it performs flawlessly and meets our high expectations and that of our customers.

Magnified inspection of Novodiac shock absorber, balance jewel cap and hole jewel, and pivot lubrication
Our inspection process includes:
Visual Inspection
Check for any cosmetic imperfections on the case, dial, hands, and crystal.
Ensure the alignment of indices, markers, and logo.
Movement Accuracy Test
Use a timegrapher to measure the watch’s rate, amplitude, and beat error in multiple positions (dial up, dial down, crown up, crown down, crown left, crown right).
Power Reserve Test
Fully wind the watch and monitor it to ensure it meets the specified power reserve duration.
Water Resistance Test
Conduct pressure tests to confirm the watch's water resistance meets the specified depth rating.
Magnetism Check
Test and demagnetize the movement if necessary to ensure it is not affected by magnetic fields.
Functionality Test
Test the operation of the crown, pushers, and other complications (e.g., date function, GMT hand if equipped).
Verify the smoothness and reliability of the bezel rotation (for diver models).
Hairspring and Balance Wheel Inspection
Examine jewel, shock absorber, hairspring and balance wheel for proper operation and alignment.
Lubrication Check
Ensure all moving parts are adequately lubricated to reduce friction and wear.
Dial and Hands Alignment
Check the alignment of the dial and hands to ensure they are correctly positioned and move smoothly without obstruction.
Strap/Band Inspection
Inspect the strap or bracelet for quality, fit, and comfort.
Test the deployment clasp or buckle for secure and smooth operation.
Luminescence Test
Test the lume on the hands and markers for brightness and longevity in low-light conditions.
Caseback Tightness
Ensure the caseback is securely fastened to maintain water resistance and protect the movement.
Noise Test
Listen for any unusual noises when the watch is operating, indicating potential issues with the movement.
Final Timekeeping Test
Monitor the watch's accuracy over several days to ensure it maintains time within the specified tolerances.
Ensure proper and protective packaging
Each watch is carefully packed and protected prior to shipment to ensure what we inspected reaches you in the same condition it left us while our care.
