Barger Watch specializes in manufacturing custom engraved watch dials made in our Georgetown, Texas workshop.  Dials are hand finished to create a one-of-a-kind watch dial that is combined with carefully selected and curated watch components to make your unique watch.   The service is for a complete watch set that includes a custom engraved dial, complimented by one of our standard watch hand sets, watch case, and strap or bracelet. 
 
We have a selection of imported  Swiss-made or Japanese-made watch movements to choose from.
 
My engraved dials take in excess of 40 hours of labor to create and finish to completion.  Depending on the complexity of the project, most custom dial watch building projects require well in excess of 60 hours of hands-on design, machining, engraving, finishing, assembly, and other skilled labor to finish a custom dial into a completed watch.
 
Because each watch is handcrafted, small variations in finish, color, and detail are normal and are part of what makes every watch truly a one-of-a-kind, heirloom-quality timepiece.
 
Movement Options
We offer multiple movement options, including Swiss- and Japanese-made automatic movements and a Swiss-made quartz movement, that can include a date function, hour, minute, and seconds hands.
 
Our automatic movement options typically appeal to those who appreciate traditional mechanical watches, while the quartz version offers exceptional accuracy and lower lifetime maintenance costs while still featuring the same high quality handcrafted custom dial and watch components.

Swiss Made Automatic Top Grade — +$450
 
Each custom watch dial is individually designed, engraved, and hand finished. Every watch is delivered as a complete set. 
 
Dial Materials
The dial can be made of brass or nickel at the standard price.
Sterling silver is available for an additional $60.
 
Custom Case Back Inscription
A custom inscription on the case back or insert (if display back) is available for an additional $50.
 
Water Resistance
Watches with a screw-down crown can be pressure tested to 100m and are suitable for swimming and limited diving applications.
 
Watches without a screw-down crown are pressure tested to 30m and are intended for incidental contact with water, such as rain or light splashing. They are not recommended for swimming or intentional submersion.
 
For a select number of the watch case options, an optional upgrade is available to allow for water resistance at a 200m specification.  The cost for these cases, upgraded water seals, and testing is an additional  $200.   Please contact us to add this option to your watch project.

This consultation allows me to better understand your vision, determine the time required for design, artwork, and production, and make sure the project is suitable for the available components and manufacturing processes.
